So if you were to recieve 1-2 schematic parts per 100-200 part session, is it safe to say that you have approximately a 1% chance of recieving a schematic piece everytime you analyze a component? I've done about 75 pieces over a number of days and have yet to recieve a piece. So, it would be my guess if I sat down and ground about 100 RE'ed components, I would at least recieve one piece of the schematic?

its all random, i re'ed 2 pieces in 1 day and got 2 lol 1 is what i needed.Ive also re'ed 300 in 1 day and didnt get any so its just random.
i need 4 to complete it

I've RE'd for an hour stright with nothign and then low and behold, within 35 seconds of each other i found 2 fragments.

Probablity theory is tricky. If we assume that there is a 1% chance of getting a disc each time you RE and you RE 100 parts, then you have a 63% chance of getting at least one disc.

wrong.. each action is an independent probability roll with no prior instance having an effect. If the chance is 1% it is 1% for each and every instance of the probability.
