Thread: Can we get MP specific items?

With the Mass of MP ships being so high, and enen loading out your ship with max mass items we don't break more than 450k on the average mass.
These items still aren't all that great in grand scheme of things. Is there anyway we can get Mark VI items. With say 200k-500k mass, and stats that make flying a MP ship in combat worth doing. As it stands 2 teir 5 ships can take out a MP ship due to the ship not being that agile.
The weekness of MP ships is just that.... we can't move then much or we throw off the gunners. It's rough enough to hit teir 4 and 5 ships in an agile fighter, it's near impossible with a MP ship doing evasive maneuver's....Please give us something that at least takes up a vast majority of that mass.
Also can we get something insode the ship that would allow us to reload missiles? It it possible to do so if the launcher is configured right, modern day naval ships have this ability, even subs can do so.

to me it would make sense that there is some humongous shield generator, reactor, engine or gun that would be significantly better at its job that could fit into a decimator, nova courier or the yt-1300. and would be specifically for this type of chassis. it simply would be too big to fit in a b-wing or oppressor
the balance doesnt seem right that a tier 4 ship and or tier 5 faction specialty ship can equip the exact same stuff the multi player ships can.
i also think a multi passenger ship should be able to equip one capacitor per gun aka turret. instead of two players constantly baby sitting each other watching capacitor draining while trying to coordinate their fire power. (i dont recall luke and han in starwars shouting out to each other to watch capacitor drainage while shooting at the tie fighters, they just squeezed triggers and let the energy fly)

exactly my point. As it stands that there is no reason to use one. They are nothing more than glorified small houses, or party boats for social events and that's it. Give us a reason to use these ships please.

I really love that idea! Maybe add a Mark V In-Flight Missile Loader with 250k mass. Same for Countermeasures...
I also agree on the other items, adding some Ultra Looted sub-components with insane mass as loot drops would solve the issue. Making a full Mark VI set of parts would be far too labor intensive tho.
Imagine a looted Shield Maximizer (sub-component)that adds 2000 front/back points and 200k mass. The whole issue can be solved with single use loot. It also gives the devs a way to make more Space Quest content, maybe combined with an intricate ground based story, with rewards like these...
