Im very recent to the masters league, and am wondering, am I lowballing?
Im selling my heavy blasters for 7.5k, my experimentals (with augs) for 40k
Its a similar story across my range of products, depending on resources some people make slightly better some make complete crud
Best example I can think of is spacebombMkII ammo, currently with good resources (not uber, but good) im making MkIIs at 11-22k ammo 3, I sell this for 12.5k credits, I have seen some proper crap out there for far more than this.
Am I a lowballer? Im making (today) about 3 mil a day, and thats increasing as my purchasing power goes up, I only have 17 lots (and i do buy a lot in, I just dont pay 10+ cpu) I also recieve deliverys from the non gouging community of miners (on this subject, marking your product up by 30x when its current with no skill apart from spare lots is rude pure and simple, yes I dont have to buy it and yes I dont, it does not change anything)
My customers are ALL happy, and frequently thank me for delivering a great product at a sane price.
My personal feeling is that, yes I could make more cash very easily, but since SW is so new, and I want a long term place in the market, keeping my customers happy is far more important and I dont have any plans to raise my prices.

I wouldn't care about what other players call you. Sell at the price that seems to fit your needs and gives you a profit you are satisfied with. If you don't sell enough, then your pricesmay betoo high. If you cannot keep up with the demand, then you can considerraising your prices - but only if you want to. Don't let others decide how you want to play the game.

Well I'm glad you can afford to do this, I do mine my own resources as much as I can, BUT I can't mine all of them. And I frequently have to buy more. I'm not sure what the economy on your server is like but on mine, I can sell any mineral for 5cpu without trying, so it would seem stupid to me to sell crafted items at this price, because it takes so much of our time. Now on components I tend to use the best resources I can find and on some of them I do spend that 10cpu on, I like to have the best quality stuff I can make and my customers like it to. So here's what I charge, do what you will with it.
Chassi's: 5cpu -- I make some money at it because of the harvested resources.
Component's: 15cpu -- these take alot of my time to make, with no factory support that means everything is hand crafted and I think it's worth it..
Missles: 10cpu -- these are easy to make but they require good resources and specialized resources, so I think 10cpu is a fair pice
Paint and Texture kits -- 5k and 2200, i don't even know what that comes out to anymore, but i think i'm rasing the price again i just can't keep them in stock.
Loot -- I have so much of it that i only charge 3k per level for RE'd loot.

anymore i've been following the 5cpu for chassis and i've just made up a lil system for parts
lvl 1 2500
lvl 3 5000
lvl 5 10000
lvl 7 20000
lvl 9 40000
I sell them easily and still make a pretty penny...but for loots i switch up cuz hey that lvl 2 capacitor w/ 960 energy isn't going for abotu 3500 creds....try 80k or so....lvl 2 w/ that much power....ur gonna pay

I would say yes 40k for a mk5 component is way to low. But thats just me.

Tier IV weaps sell all day long for me at 50k a piece, and there's a guy next door who sells for less, but with a different subcomp. You gotta know your market. People will pay more for better stuff, or for a name they know. Personally I think you're prices are outrageously low, but as someone else said, if you're happy with your profit margin and can live with hearing people calling you that...more power to you :-p

This is EXACTLY the pricing schematic I have used and had success with. On certain items that I have used UBER resources on I may raise the actual price by 1000 per level.
