I have just started playing the space part of the game (yea, I know .. a little behind the times). I am currently 1-1-1-1 Imp. I need a shipwright that will build me the best Tie I can fly at this skill level .. but at a reasonable price. It seems my government issued Tie just can't handle the second level missions.

If it is any help .. I haveLevel 3 Equipment Certification.

The best ship at your level would be the High mass variant of the TIE fighter. Reasonable price? Well that's another matter. You could go with the standard TIE fighter, which would be an upgrade to your goverment issue light duty TIE. Check the bazaar, also do a vendor search, and see if any are floating in your price range.

Be sure to save some cash for a flight computer (you have level 2 certification) so you can install a droid interface into your ship and take advantage of your droid programs. These help quite a bit, and since you've only been using the "starter" ship,I can only guess you haven't been using the droid programs due to the fact that flight computer won't load up in the government issue TIE.
