Can you grind to Master Shipwright before you get JTL? I have the Total Experience on order for my alt but i would like to begin grinding SW asap and was wondering if it is possible to grind it before you actually register JTL.... If my memory serves me right people were grinding SW before JTL even went Live.... so if anyone could give me a definite answer on this i would appecriate it

Short answer: No.

Without JTL, the Shipwright Trainer wont talk to you. I guess the only thing you could do would run up to Engineering 4, as well as the extra General Crafting XP you need. Not sure how much that is.

Oh, and maybe gather 14 Ba-zillion units of Steel.

It's the resources that are the big part anyway, with them it's just an afternoon of grinding.
