Hi, I just got Master Shipwright and I have a question. I dont know if I should post this on the trade forums or not. How much do the blue prints for the shps go for? Do you charge by the unit that you created? I have 2 of each sets of blueprints....What is the going price on average? 4-6 cpu? I appreciate the imput.

I charge 5 cpu for all of my stuff. Other shipwrights mark up their stuff insanely and rip people off imo.

Thanks for your input. now the special ships, like the yt1300, do you charge the same or increase the price?

I charge the same. It's really not that hard to get resources and resource quality doesn't make significant changes in the output unless it's a dramatic difference. Parts that use asteroids are different though. If you mine your own asteroids, you'll want to charge a lot more for asteroid resources. I don't mine for other people so if they want a ship or part that uses asteroids, they'll need to mine their own.

I do the same, roughly 5cpu on your basic stuff.
Though, I do have exceptions, such as someone wanting a 66k+ A-wing, etc. Those really nasty ones that want the top of the line get the top of the line price, since the resources required as much more expensive.

I no longer sell chassis but when I did I sold them at 5 cpu. I sell components and very good ones and charge 25 cpu for them. Even crafting 3 hours a day I can not maintain my stock to where I would like it. You will find that chassis do not sell that well and are not worth the time. Concentrate on getting good resources when you start. It will take weeks, if you are lucky, but probably months. When you can experiment things to the 99% level, you should charge an amount that keeps your stock from flying off the shelf. A stocked vendor is alot more importantant than a cheap price. If I was out of oranges, then I would sell them at a nickle a piece. lol

For Chassis I always go 5CPU.
I dont put good resources into ship Chassis because the differences are just so minimal. I try to go with about 50-60% effective resources when I craft ships. That gives them pretty decent ratings, comparable to what I see on my server.
IMO, if you dump 60k+ of 900+ OQ steel into a PoB ship, you need to be shot.

so the quality doesnt really effect chassis? guess i can just set my harvesters to that 65% vein of steel and mine what i need really fast if i put all three of my BER13 heavies to work.

The effects are minimal. Like they said, if you want the best possible stats then of course go with the best resources you have. That will drain your good resources fast though since chassis use a lot. It's up to you. I always use my best stuff no matter what since I mostly make stuff for myself and friends.

Yeah, on most ships, the difference is minimal to say the least.
There are a few, however, where people are willing to pay nicely for top end quality, mainly being the A-wing and TIE/Interceptor. If you can come close to capping those, people, at least as far as I have seen, will pay very nicely.
