Thread: What did you train first?

When I ground it out, I went straight up the chassis line, then went back and filled in the rest. Simply because chassis make it so much quicker. The smart way (not quick at all mind you) is to grind each evenly, so that, by the time you are making the higher level chassis, you are also making other parts to go along with them.

Granted, this method requires a lot of different resources instead of just stuff to make chassis. In the end, resource requirement should be very close to identical, just of differing types.

Even at 1cpu, you're looking at around 5mil for all the resources it takes to get master, that's saying you have access to the buffs for the extra experience.

I agree with Nearro. I went up the chassis line first as well, but that was when JTL was released and everything was selling. Now, grinding evenly might be better if you're watching you cash. Normally, pilots buy more than one component at a time, so having stuff of the same cert level helps you there.

I've helped a couple novice SWs out by giving them resources to craft things where quality doesn't matter (paint/texture kits etc) in exchange for the items when they were done. Not huge XP but helps out both parties.

I've finished tier 1 so far but the fact that you get more experimentation points per level got me thinking....how did the rest of you spend your skillpoints? Did you grind each tier out evenly or did you finish one section first, like chassis, systems, etc.?

I'm just wondering if it's more beneficial to do one type at a time so you can make better product so you can sell some of 'em to help finance the rest of the grind. (i.e.: somebody with tier 4 chassishas the potential to make a better tie fighter than I can at tier 1 because they have more experimentation points, correct?)

I've got my 9 harvesters going and even a few belonging to a friend but I still need to buy the odd resource depending on what's spawning. That gets expensive in the quantities we need.

I will be honest with you, much of the stuff you make will not be worth anything untill you get master. The best way is to use practice for the chassis line, then grind the rest of SW out making an even number of chassis of each type as these are the only things that exp dosnt affect much and you can sell these once you are master, also oy ucan recoup some of what you spend grinding. Once you hit master start making all the other components to stock your vendors. Only other thing, dont make any tier one ships to keep as these are also now worthless, since all pilots get a free one.
