How good is this? and how much would you pay?

Thats an reward shield that has been RE'd. Except the shipwright didnt take the time or effort to get a lower mass... so I'll give ya 2 dollar

reward sheild is given out by the trainers upon completing a certain mission.


To find out what rewards are given out when I suggest looking in the pilot forum.

I've gotten 3 or so of these that pilots have sold me (as I offer 1.5x price of chassis dealer) in their loot. To be fair, I do email them back and let them know that they can buy it back for what I bought it from them for (the same for all reward parts, the good ones, anyway).

Looks like a lot of people aren't really paying attention to the stats of their loot. And/or never realize that the trainers hand them the reward equipment after they've checked their 'booty' and thinking it's all trash.

By the way, what has been the lowest mass you've seen to RE with this? I realized I had a 24.5k mass lvl8 shield saved up (actually 2 of them, both with same name, but too bad I can't remember it right now heh) -- I know that's 'good' but is it one of the best?

The reward Shield I did for myself is:


mass: 22k


recharge: 18


I have done about 6 others and on average I seem to be able to get enough loot for:


mass: 25k


recharge: 16

With double XP week, you can do smuggler squadron in under 10 hours, I just did it in 8.5 hours.
