POB? what does it stand for, and what ships will use these parts?
Are they any better than normal parts? I have not yet had enough resorces to build any and find out.
Also, anyone have a link to what the new Xwing textures look like?

POB stands for "Portalized Object" (also called "Player On Board" by some)
The POB ships are:
Freelance: YT-1300
Rebel: Nova
Imperial: Decimator
All: Y-8, Sorosub Luxury Yatch (180 day JTL vet reward)
They are a little better than normal parts, but by all reports not by a great margin (and they take up lots of mass)

My POB Null Bolt Blastershave 31%greater DPS than my MKV's and the POB armour is amazing, however as the asteroid resources are Borked, quite a few POB components are only barely better (or in some cases like the engine Worse) than their MKV components
I am still exeprimenting with them at this point

As if it matters when you have 5mil mass.
