Since I finished grinding SW Ive had this Idea of selling pre made ships in backpacks, much like armorsmiths sell suits. I made my first of these yesterday....it took a while but seems well set up. sued it seem like a good idea? has it been done? also how should I price it, I know it varies but give me a rough idea?

The only real challange to this is that people will not be able to verify what is in the pack. So, even if you list all the stats of the items in there, customers will have to trust that you are not selling them a backpack of paint kits
Otherwise this can be a great idea. It saves in that the ship is ready to go, there is no discussion needed back and forth about mass and what not.
I'd recommend that you sell individual parts, and offer a some complete ships as a time saver. A lot of pilots are just interested in one or two components at a time.
On prices, take a look at the bazaar on your server and look for items that match yours in quality. Consider how much your costs where (in cpu for the resources) then add a profit margin you are comfortable with on top of that for each component.
Then just add them all up and charge the total for the whole pack.
