Just as a general curiosity, what's the highest damage people have seen on these? I've seen one base 4800, but that was once, and listed on a vendor for max creds.... anybody else?

4940.8 max (off a Rayslinger), and that went into my unofficial best L10 ever REed. It's unofficial simply because I don't KNOW it's the best.

Best I've ever RE'd is 4700+. However, if you search the boards, I recall someone once posting that they broke 5000. I don't recall if there was a screenshot or not.

I've got a 4950 Correllian Beamrail. I bought it for a major pile of credits.

I'm hoping for a low mass cannon to go with, but mildly unhappy - at this point - with the 44,900 mass on my best-massed cannon. TomoRaider found better pre-nerf :<

What variables if any affect the damage output on the Beamrail gun?

Send Darth Platypus a REALLY FAT check and you might find an exceptional one sitting in your inventory some morning.

Brienhar..

Nice screenshot and nice weapon. It has stats equal to or superior to any I've ever been able to create except in Min damage. One of my rewards from the Nym quest had average stats, but a Min damage of about 3000, which RE'd to over 3100. I think min damage is an important, but often-overlooked stat. That max damage is awesome though, as well as the vs. shield and armor. Bet that one hits HARD.
