Thread: Best resource to grab with 30k resource kits?
Considering you can sell a resource kit for around 3 million (give or take, depending on server) whatever resource you take with it should be something that sells for at least 100 cpu. Otherwise, you'd be better off selling the kit and using the money to buy the resources.

hmm..3 million? That is unheard of on Eclipse. 2 million at the most.
But regardless, I'm fairly new to Shipwright (I finished the grind a month ago, but been on vacation/busy the last month...only starting too collect some resources). Money isn't an issue to me, so any suggestions on a good resource? :/ I don't know the going rates on most.

You some alternatives:
- Auction it off on your server's trade forum. The price does vary from server-to-server, but your sure to make a couple million credits, at least.
- Check out swgcraft.com to determine what resource you want.
- Stick it in your safety deposit box and wait. Someday it might worth a lot more. Someday you might need it.
I personally wouldn't waste it on asteroid resources, as I can pull down 1550 units of any asteroid resource in 15 minutes. Besides, I have scads of players that mine for me at 25 CPU. I am not only saving them, but have eight of them just laying in wait--this also represents 240K of some resource, which can be very attractive to a shipwright (as opposed to 30K which I can clip through in an evening).
I guess you can make the best component using of the best material that ever spawned on server but you'd be hard pressed to find some one willing to shell out the cash for a crafted component when they can usually get a comparable RE'd item at a much lower cost.
