Null bolts fire what looks to me like blue cotton balls with paper clips inside. You were using either the gauss cannon or rail gun. I've never made either as a turret gun needs get through both shields and armor and when you run out of missiles it's the ship's only defense so in my opinion it's not a good gun to specialize. On the other hand some say that if you target subcomponents the effectiveness vs armor is less important, but it's not always easy for me to get good gunners so I go with a fast-firing general purpose gun. But if you really love the graphic of the gun you had then it's your business. If you find out which it was and have a pair made, I still recommend the quick shot upgrade and any of them will probably eat whatever they hit for lunch.
Crafted POB components all start at 250k mass as far as I know.
If not null bolts and not gauss cannons, then it's probably the elite rail gun. I imagine either of the other two would be better, but it's ultimately your ship and your business.

I believe it probably was the rail gun. It sounds familiar. It's not the gauss cannon... I have two of them hooked up to my Nova Cruiser (mean little beasts too), and they're not it.
I'll check out a rail gun and see.
But yeah... I don't usually get POB weapons for their destructive power... I get them for looks. Seeing as how I usually go up into space by myself in a POB ship (I can never find a group >>
, and because of that I usually stay out of battle, I don't really need ones that will blow away a Stardestroyer in a few hits.

A little while ago I had a POB ship weapon that fired green lasers and had four green dots that squiggled around the screen when it fired. Now that I have a Decimator on my alt, I had wanted to get a second of these so I'd have a matching set for the ship. However... I seem to have missplaced the blaster and can't find it anywhere. Not to mention I can't remember what it was called, so finding another one is really difficult.
Might anyone know what POB weapon this it? I know it's not the guass cannon, because that fired dark orange/red lasers (I have two on my Nova Cruiser).
And what resources does it take, atleast for the asteroid resources?

Was it crafted or just an RE'd weapon you stuck on your POB?
If it was crafted, odds are it was a "Null Bolt". That's your basic, even damage vs weapon, much like the regular blasters, so odds are it would fire the regular green lasers.

As far as resource requirements, the following are the list of mats needed for the POB-only weapons:

1250 Steel
1250 Radioactive

1250 Methane Asteroid

It was a crafted component. Forgot to mention that.
It was a POB component, I remember that much. Pretty high mass... around 200k if I remember right. Nearly 6k in max damage.
I thought it may have been the Null Bolt, but I didn't really want to spend a few hundred thousand credits and found out I'd bought the wrong one. Nor get all the resources, have one crafted, and find out it was the wrong one.

I don't have any spare ones sitting around or I'd pop one in my VT and check. Hopefully someone will have either an answer or a couple of them they could check.
My guess is still on the Null Bolt, since the Railgun would be more on the Disruptor side and the Gauss is your Ion Cannon.
