I've been keeping my vendors stocked with about 80% of the shipwright product lines till now. I've always excluded caps because I just didn't see a market with such good loot caps going around. This weekend I decided "If you build them, they will come".
Anyone regularly stocking crafted caps? What do you see working better or selling better? Anyone want to brag about what they've selling at the moment?

I make an "overcharger special" using the heavy battery upgrade and maxing out energy storage. I do a second one whereI use the heavy battery and experiment on recharge. Both come out with nice stats and sell well. The MK V models might have too much mass to compete with loot,so maybe only good in a POB, but the POB models are insane for anyone wanting to buy one. Base stats are 47 recharge and 1750 energy, which with cap overload 4 gives over 3500 energy to shunt into your shields.
I forget the stats on the MK IV but it ends up with 2200 energy running cap overload 3. I know that can be beaten using looted caps but if you overload these enough to decay them they're crafted and you can make more.

Just started, they sell, but not too fast.
I can get a recharge of over 62 on mark V and over 53 on mark IV
Not too bad ![]()

They work for POB ships if you can get a large energy reserve on them. The elite POB cap in my YT is 52 recharge with a 1433 energy reserve. I have read about people with elite caps that hit 1600 energy reserve.
While it is possible to RE a similar level 8 cap from loot, it is much easier to just go out and buy a crafted one.
