Thread: Any RE weapons that have authentic TIE sound?

Hello
I'm a future imperial pilot (prior ace of all pilots) and I was wondering if anybody has run across a looted weapon that makes the sound that TIE fighters make in the movies? Preferably a lvl 8 or 10 weapon?
I'm really, really annoyed that rebels get to keep their authentic sounds on all red laserswhile us imperials get some crappy pre-ANH sound to replace our nice, fierce TIE fighter sounds.

Sadly, the "original" sound you are talking about for the green lasers is gone. Don't remember which publish took it out, but it got replaced with the current sound for green lasers.
I too miss that truely Imperial sound.
I mean, come on. They did allow shipwrights to craft Red and Green lasers for a reason, and that reason wasn't so that they could take away the true imperial sound.

yeah the only thing I've found so far that actually has that sound are the prototype guns out of a newb TIE... I still don't know about the boltdriver though ... anyone that can confirm which sound it has?
