Thread: Bug in Component Tool for REing?

Just wandering if anyone has an issue with the REing tool like I had today.
I haven't been around much in-game but started space looting today again & REing. Noticed the Tool doesn't always subtract a usage when REing. Seems like it usually happens with a new one not yet used for the most part. I thought it was bugged & would have infinite uses but it appears to be Visual only.
It'll evenually run out as usual but its hard to tell when that'll happen. Its just like that experiment bug, where it was visual only & still would apply the changes but where you couldn't see it. Doesn't happen with every tool, just some of them. I would say its a minor bug because it doesn't seem to affect anything.
I would be curious if it stops the output of a Firespray disc, I got 2 today but from tools that were working & subtracting uses.

It does subtract the usage, however it will not show up in the corner window anymore

Yeah. I caught this bug when I looked at my tool, it said I had 8 charges left, then it disappeared after the first RE. So yeah, it looks like they "moved" the bug from the experimentation window not updating to the inventory window now not updating.

I had a similar issue when combining two stacks of resources ... but they DID get around to updating after a while.
