I am looking for input on building frames, I have not quite figured out the combo of what qualities of a building material will effect increasing the ships mass. Other than over all qualtiy (OQ), what should I keep an eye on to aid in increasing a ships mass?? ie: the x-wings I make have a max mass of96-98k, but I have seen some with a max mass of 101k.I am specifically looking for rebel ships but once in a while get contracted for neutral ships as well, thanks in advance

it's [[ 25% MA +25% OQ + 25% SR + 25% UT ]] for *all* ships.

thanks for the info, and thanks for the web site, that will come in handy...

If you work out the cost of increasing the mass capacity of the chassis against the relatively minor performance penalties in decreasing the mass of the components it make little or no sense to take the ship chassis mass much above the nominal value (ie 100k for an X-wing). e.g. it may cost 60k of premium resources to raise a TIE Interceptor by 1k in mass over nominal (50k), whereas I can make a reactor 1k lighter at a loss of 2-300 generation points.
