i know it doesnt concernes everyone but i think the fs crafting needs heavy modifying first of all only artisan, droid engineers and architects can changer they xp to fs crafting xp what about armorsmiths weaponsmiths and shipwright? i mean armor and weaponsmiths should be able to change out of nature but how about shipwright? i mean its a GROUND proffession if we have to use TONS of ressources for one object we should atleast be able to change the xp wen mastered the proffession why should we burn our skill points for something we cant use for fs crafting ?

next thing is : the amount of fs xp needed did you ever checked the boxes? they need the same amount of xp as fighting fs skills sure its okay if you thing its fair that a crafter needs 2 hours or so to get the ressources to get the same amount of fs xp that a fighting prof gets in 1 min. they could ATLEAST cut the amount of xp by half and even that is next to nothing in change

the conversion rate for shipwright xp should be soo 20xp per fs xp if you think about it hey you need TONS of ressources so 20 really is the maximum

if you have any suggestions post them if you already agree sign

ps:for all that wants to pest the developers with feedbacks and cant find the button open the support subwindow on the swg site and choose submit feedback

whats live? whats death? does it really matter?..all that matters is balance, between life and death.... good and evil ...light and darkness... only balance gives you the wisdom to survive in this mad world if something changes adapt to it if you meet any hardships come over them strength cant be given only earned learn to LIVE not just to survive

I can only speak for myself, but I in no way want Shipwright to be part of a viable path towards Jedi.

This community already struggles with pricing and profits. I can only imagine that Jedi grinders would just dump chassis after chassis on the market at 1cpu or less. After all, it would only make sense to try to make some money off of the end product, and producing chassis in bulk is the fastest way to gain XP.

Sorry, I'm sure you're a nice guy with good intentions, but this is just about the worst idea I have ever heard suggested. It is bad enough that people are whipping grenades around in an effort to become more attuned to the life force of the universe, which is just plain silly. Having power levelers craft starships as a path to uberness would seriously destablize the market, which is more than just silly - it could drive the real shipwrights out of business, and possibly even out of the game completely.

Not everything in SWG should be about becoming a Jedi. It is just my opinion, but I like our role in the scheme of things just the way it is.

Not to mention that the price for resources would go out the roof.

Actually, I had an idea for that here, but no one ever responded Basically, it involves removing XP from chassis, and revamping how much xp is required for our entire profession. Grinding Master will still be viable, using shipwright for FS will be as good as option as any other crafting prof, and chassis might be come sellable (oh, no!).

So if you switch from grinding chassis to grinding components, wouldn't that just drive the price of components down? Creating an even less profitable situation than we have now when competing against looted and RE'd items?

I'll say it again, not everything in SWG should be about becoming a Jedi.

Have weapon prices gone down because of FS grinding weaponsmiths? What about armor? I'm not after Jedi, I'm after FS crafting for the sake of crafting, not a glowstick. I'd like to trade the xp I've built up keeping my vendors stocked and outfitting my friends ships.

If FS was instituted with chassis giving xp, yeah the market would go nuts because it would be an extremely fast method. Remove the chassis xp and if FS was allowed, the market will not explode because there are faster methods out there.
