Thread: Best weapon for 15k mass

To all you talented Shipwrights out there -
What is the best weapon you have seen, manufactured,or RE'd in the mass range of 15k? (I'm primarily interested in damage, but high fire rates, low power drain, etc. are all good too)

My best crafted in terms of DPS is as follows:
Level 7
14656 mass
1537-2456 damage
.489/.489 armor/shields
.263 refire
27.4 energy/shot
When I'm using max damage upgrades, I've gotten them up to 2889 max damage with a couple amazing successes.
RE'd Boltdrivers will be even better, but I don't have a great one of those on me currently.

The best would be an imperial reward lvl 7 weapon RE'd below 15k mass.

I have yet to get a level 7 gun that'll bring a boltdriver below 15k,

I'm not at home at the moment or I would throw together one to see. I know I have some of, if not the, best resources for weapons on the Tarquinas server. So, when I get home I'll make one and post the stats for you guys.

I have gotten one RE'd lvl 7 down to 15,449 mass out of about 50 lvl 7 drops.

25.1 Energy per shot
.320 refire rate
Its a Siener Design Systems "Boltdriver" RE'd with some nice loots, its the best lvl 7 gun I have.

As far as loot goes, level 7 is the highest level likely to drop below 15K mass. Level 6 can be much smaller but are going to do about 25% less damage. Level 8 is unlikely to make it down to 15K Mass. Using 41 looted level 7 engines on Wanderhome as an example: the 1-in-1000 weapon (before being RE'd) would be 590 RED, 11687 Mass, 1912 Min Damage, 2894 Max Damage, .65 vs Armor, .60 vs Shields, 20.33 Energy/Shot, .29 Refire Rate.
