First, I'd like to say that it is a great honor to represent this community!
Second, I'd like to say that I hope we can all work together from this point on, to make shipwright the best it can be.
Born in the beta skies of servers long since past, I have watched this swg universe grow and change a lot over the years. I have played many different types of professions. Shipwright has been the most enjoyable for me. I look forward to hearing how you like shipwright and what you'd like to see or not see in the future. So far I've seen many fantastic contributions to this community from other shipwrights. Please continue to provide such input. I will do my best to make sure all of your voices are heard.
Thanks!

Well, at least we have one now. Hopefully you can get something done. Forgive the people, like myself, with negative attitudes towards a correspondant, but we haven't exactly gotten much love since jtl launched. They fixed the engine speed months ago and have ignored everything else since. We didn't get much from the last correspondant except a feeling that no one "up there" cared much about us. This seemed kind of odd since they put off so many other problems in the game to get JTL launched and then left another broken profession behind in their wake. I love shipwright, but I sure don't love going on every day and seeing my sales dwindle because people would rather pay 2-3cpu for the guy that can make 102 spd engines for that price because resource quality makes so little difference to our profession. Hopefully you will take what I wrote in your thread about the engine you made seriously. I'm using the exact same engine overdrivers as you and three of the resources going into the engine itself are better, but I still can't get even .1 faster than 104.7. More than anything else in our profession they need to make good resources matter. Until that happens the good shipwrights will dwindle more and more and you'll be left with nothing but the undercutters. On a lighter note, it's cool to see Corbantis represented.

welcome.
I certainly hope you will help us by pressing the ful lfactory support issue back to the devs. I hear the devs have requested a top 3 from all proffessions so supposively they will do naother publish before the CU addressing these.
our top 3:
1. Full factory support for all craftable ship components
2. Sub-components that enhance P/R/Y. You can make it so it enhances agility but doesnt benift speed
3. Loosen the restrictions on naming REd loot and give shipwrights the chance to rename loot.

Greetings and congrats.
1) How about the ability for a "visual" of the Blueprints when a customer is trying to decide on what style of a Kimo or Dunelizard, for example, when they are looking on a vendor? Or better yet, allow for SW's to have a visual that they could post by their vendor or possiblymailcustomers a non-functioning schematic showing them the various designs?
2) In following up with #1, this would also apply for "Textue Kits". How does one inform a Freelance or Alliance pilot on the looks of a particular Texture Kit when there is not enough reference for them?Customers end up having to purchase all 6 and then in most cases 2 sets just to determine what sort of look you might like.
3) I would 2nd the notion that "full factory" support on final ship items not be implimented. This is what makes this profession so elite. You must like to craft to stay in business.
4) I thought MP ships did not count asspace in your datapad?I go and generate my B-Wing and try to generate my Nova andI receive the message of too many ships. So I deeded my A-Wing.Did I miss something on this?
5) I would again 2nd the notion of having some other type of sub-component to enhance P/R/Y on engines instead of speed.

Nice to meet you IIscandar.
Im about to be a Master SW.
IMHO, If something has to be changed, please consider this:
-Loots are to often best than crafted components. Please help SW. It doesnt exist on ground. Increase SW craftwork please.
-Increase Decay. Most people buy their ship once, and never change it. So market offers tons of ship, sold 1 cpu...
Considering points above won t change, I don t think factories are welcomed for us. We have enough ships in our stockroom to avoid factories no?
There u have my main complains. i will certainly find others later
Excuse my english, im french.
