Make master obtainable though AP, like every other profession, and not an extra 200k crafting exp.

app didn't work as the devs intended it to, so they made it into a xp req instead.

I'd rather grind out a few more chassis, then find a guildie to train a skill over and over, or sit at a starport waiting to train people.

So they should change it with everything then. Maybe I will post something like this in the core forum.

Same here. I've always found it a pain to acquire AP for a new profession.

Back when everyone was grinding skills, getting AP was easier. Things are much more stable today. The people needing training as been in a constant decline. I think the AP system is on its way out and the Dev's saw that when they made master exp based. I totally agree with that decision. Even pilot skills are only trainable at the NPC trainer. If anything needs fixing, it will be the elimination of the AP system on all other skills.

You know, thinking back that's something which was brought up during the SWG beta. A lot of folks worried about getting AP for new professions in a stable environment. Looks like they were right.

I never ever had a problem with AP. As a matter of fact, every time I needed to fill a master box during the past few months, I found myself AP capped already. Just by ordinary playing and sporadically teaching someone who was /shouting 'Can someone please teach me xxx skill'.
