float a few threads to the top. when the new shipwright corr comes he/she can take these off, but the threads seem useful

I didn't announce it when I did it, I just did it. 
The forum looked so lonely with no floated threads at all, I had to put at least one up there. And a thread of links seemed like a very good choice.

someone msged me asking to sticky one of the threads, and I figured I'll put up a few others although don't make it a habit to msg me to sticky stuff, this isn't my forum

Nah, the fight is between me and Garvin. I still owe him a woopin. We had a dogfight going on in space a couple months ago that got interrupted before I could pwn his ass, and haven't had a chance for a rematch yet.
