I am guessing I need to replace my chassey on my ship before it hits 0/0.. I think its like 224/224 right now.. But what happens if it hits zero? I am guessing I cannot fly it any longer, but can I take the parts out once its hits 0/0 or do I lose the ship all together and the parts? Is there also any repair tool I can get to fix the durablity and bring it back up even thought I repair my ship at the starport. I am shocked my ship is almost toasted after about 10 hrs of total use Sounds to me like its kinda low on durablity

There are repair kits for the chassis, and they work like any other repair kit.

so does that mean it does the same repair job the space stations do?

Space stations don't always repair all damage, for one...some only do a portion...

But, regarding repair kits, there are kits basically for every single sub-system on your ship. Have them in your inventory, when you manage your ship click a component and you'll see the "Repair" button pop up. Click it, it fixes however much damage the Repair Kit was rated for and uses the Kit.

From what I understand your ship will decay to nothing. I am not sure about the components, but you cannot be too careful. This was just released.

As far as the reapir tool for chassis, AFAIK max condition (ie hitpoints) will still drop over time.

What is your ship? Higher level ships have more hitpoints. Also you can ask a Shipwright to put into hitpoints instead of so much on mass. Your ship will be more durable, but take less components potentially.

Also check your armor, it is reducing from getting hit as well. Low armor rating will mean a more fragile ship.

I have not done a lot of components Hitpoint experimentation so I am not sure how much more you can add. Perhaps someone can post that information.

You should be able to remove components from your 0/0 ship by using the Starship Terminal interface. Your ship wont disappear when you reach that much damage, so you should still have access to the components.

Here's another question, though. What about items placed inside multiplayer ships? What will happen to those if your Yacht or YT gets destroyed? I want to know if I should risk putting my blue rug, and all the armour pieces I've received from missions on display in my Yacht.
