We all know the problem, that it is not possible to select which radioactive is used to to power a harvester.
My workaround for this problem ist to use a shipcrafting/storage droid. As I am using the droid for crafting anyway, it is easy to remove radioactive from storage, if I use it for crafting and putting it back again.
This works quite well for me.

My solution is to never carry crafting resources in my inventory. I use the crafting station hopper.

heres a better alternative. keep on backpack w/only harvesting radio..drop it in your shop when you dont need to juice harvs. simply, take out our jtl radio and pickup the pack when needing to maint.

I use a droid to store any power (not just rads)that I do not intend to use when I am out servicing my collectors. This is a really annoying issue with power. We should be able to specify which power resourceto use out of all the types in our inventories when we add power to a collector or factory. This is something that should really be addressed, but I can understand why it is not a priority.

Yeah, I learned the hard way to always double check before distributing power. Fortunately I only lost about 10k units of my 850PE/900OQ Radioactive, but I lost a good 70k of High Grade Polymetric. Why? I forgot to drop my "Premium Resources" backpack before I left the house. Now I always double check my inventory before I leave my house to do the harvesting gig.
