I tested it in: decimator/crimson tie/advanced/and JSF- Far as i can tell its the typical effect. feel free to test! thanks for this guide btw i use it all the time.

Be advised that on the JSF, firing ANY model of H-K "Scorcher" gun, in either hardpoint, will produce a large white flash that obscurs you vision. Quite the pain in the arse.

This makes it a lot easier to pre-plan what my guns are going to look like. Instead of havign to load each one and test it myself.

There is another cool quest reward blaster as well, the Rendili FG1-A Blaster (Kashyyyk quest reward), it's an RE7 blaster so identical vs shields and armor at about.65 and other stats are similarto the Ionic canon. The Rendili FG1-A shoots blue lasers.

very cool effect -- too bad the refire rate is not very low
