these ships should, IMHO, be tanks, they can take a ton of damage, but don't deal as much.
are you joking a tank has a big freaking gun on it .. Booomm!!!!! thats going to realy hurt whats in front of it

These useless parts are the final straw.... I'm deeding my nova for the ARC-170. At least the pilot will have opps and a gun. These "elite parts" are BANTHA FODDER!!!!!! I already have better parts in my Nova. NASA can produce better parts.

Man that Shield Component at 2700 front and back is way less then what it needs to be. Very disapointed in all the components, other then the fact they dont make all my looted lvl 10 re'd parts obsolete because they arent as good. I still think they need to make it so shipwrights get a 1/1000 chance of making a componenet that competes with the best RE'd loot.

So with a ypr of 55 I guess that means the hope of them fixing that with the expansion is dashed.

3questions skuzz:
How do the Elite Reactors and Mining Reactors stack up?
These components all have alternate appearances, the booster is crated but the rest all look new (and very cool), do they change the appearance of the ship they are in?
Where do I get the asteroid resources? Do only those in the EP3 test have access to the special weapons and cargo hold?
EDIT: Just noticed the required resources for weapons max damage and refire rates have been corrected on TC!! Woohoo!!

Thats what i was wondering.
I thought you needed RotW to have a cargo hold, and to mine asteroids. I think there is a private beta right now, in which case, i dont think you'd be posting those stats here due to the NDA. How were you able to get these resources? Didnt find them on the frogs yet...

I had to get creative to get the asteroid resources, being as they cant be mined yet, or aquired on the frogs. I noticed the asteroid resources WERE on the veteran resource deeds tho
So i used my 3 accounts TC rewardand a number of guildies gave me theirs. Which let me make the new SW stuff.

Ya I think in the 8-10K range for the shields are a better number for POB ships

These are starting to look good, but we need some things:
Double armor
Double shield power and regen
Double weapon damage
And then I think it'll be good. A huge reactor is not necessary, the engine is decent (though I'd prefer boosting PYR instead of top speed), a huge capacitor is not ready, it just needs more protection and it becomes viable. Give it a large level of protection and it'll be hard to beat, because by the time you can do a decent amount of damage to an MP ship the turrets will have gotten ya and you'll have to break off.
