Possibly all the crap I go through, getting all the bestequipment, food, skill tapes, etc,I can and trying to makeevery experimentation pointas good as it could be actually did help? Maybe it was broken when you tried it last time, and the fixes are what your vetching about now? You're the 'expert crafter' here, why are you complaining about failing while I don'tget what you're talking about?

You've got me wondering...

Hrmm did ya read the whole thread? I have many crafters (I own 8 accounts total) I have one toon that is a complete FS Crafter, I have almost every 12point suit for each profession, I use the best resources my server has ever spawned, I also use foods, the best crafting tools and station's and with ina research center. The purpose of the thread was to discuss if anyone else notice that after pub 18 there were alot more failures. On a side note I got the same result from a 10point crafter using the worst stuff. So how about u st fu and read the damn thread. It is 100% possible u did not have this problem. It could be that I craft alot more handcrafted items then u.

FS experimentation +20, never had anything less than a great success in shipwright, weaponsmith or armorsmith. Been this way for me since I got FS experimentation months ago.

I wasn'tnot trying to be nasty. I didn't call you an incompetent, did I? I just suggested that it wasn't the same for me and you're now trying to pull status on me? This is a video game. The more you play, the less respect I have for you. Eight characters and a full FS crafting tree on one of themdon't impress me in the slightest.

So that statement is supposed to mean what then? You assume me or any of the other crafters that have nocited a change since Pub 18 is using the worst stuff and or we do not know what we are doing. This is why I came back and let u know that I think I do know what I am doing...

Now onto the more fun stuff u wrote.

I may not have done well in spelling and grammer in school, but just like many other people who are really good with there hands, I have been able to start a company and make well over 6 figures a year, my company just about broke the 7 digit range. Not bad for somone who can not spell. All I have to say about my parents is I guess yeah they didnt always get on my case about school, but did always stand behind me to follow my dreams. What I want to know is why every time someone has a debate they always have to bring up Spelling and Grammer. If I was standing in front of you I would be able to speak to you very well. So why must people like u belittle others over there spelling and grammer?

As for the respect part, hey just like you stated, "This is a video game" and I never asked for your respect.

Go find an English teacher and quit trolling the forums. <----- There ya go again. And in case u didnt notice, I started the thread to hear coments from other people on there experiance with pub 18.

On a side note, I have gotten nothing but amazing results while crafting light sabers.

I made 4 Elite Shields last night. I was using Pyollian Cake and Bespin Port. On the assemblies, I got all Great Successes (with the stats coming out exactly the same). I put 5 points in Front HP and 5 in Back HP (at the same time, so 1 Exp try only). All of them resulted in the "Great Success" message, but they had vastly different outcomes. The first one took both front and back HP to over 3.5K. The others were all different, ranging from 3.1K to 3.5K.

I don't do a whole lot of crafting, so I don't know if this is normal or not.

It's normal, yes. This happens because you're experimenting 2 stats at the same time, and the success message you get is a combination of the two rolls. You most likely got an amazing on 1 shield bank and a failure on the other one, or something like that.

This also happens when you experiment 2 stats with the same line, like when you're crafting a Lightsaber and experiment in both SAC and FC using experimentation points only in efficiency.

Sorry for not being clearer. I know that the message is a combination of the two exp rolls (1 for each line). What I was questioning was whether it was normal to have this many good successes or failures, as per the original poster's question.

I crafted 4 shields. Experimented on 2 lines per shield. That's 8 expermimentation rolls. Of those 8, there was 1 definite failure, and maybe 4 great successes and 3 good successes. For someone using Bespin Port, the great successes seem little low given my limited experience.

Then again, I could be wrong. It could just be that reading this thread yesterday before doing my crafting made me pay attention a little more.

i have noticed more failures too. considering we need to handcraft every sinlge component this is not really a nice way for SW's

in the last days i crafted a few items.. and about 1/3rd came out bad... thats really a waste of ressources :/

i think SW should have different succes/fail rate then other crafting professions..... or give us fac support. (no dont want to start this

discussion again )

Yeah that was pretty much my point. And when u use some very rare resources, and BAM get a failure on the last point when u have no choice but to hand craft, it stings worse then a saber poking u in the eye.
