Styx really needs to look into this. I think I mentioned this earlier, but I found a lvl1 engine that had 500/500/250, and after RE it was downgraded to 180/180/180. That alone should show that something is amiss. There needs to be a tremendous amount of clarification from the developers about how this process truly works, and what, if any, bugs are currently floating around.

Iggep, friend, you're missing the essential point--those stats are irrelevant on engines. The change whenever you mount them--the best "bug fix" for this is to hide them entirely.
(...and display them on the ship)

So in the meantime, educate your customers if they're confused. This is the only real problem, correct? Or do you just want SWG to be perfect

No, the point is that those stats are listed, and the way RE is supposed to work, isn't how it is working.

Bah! That isnt exceptional!
I RE'd a lvl 4 engine for a guildmate, it had an insane spd already (96.2 I think), wondered if I should RE it.
Turned out Pitch, Yaw, Roll 180 (from like 400/300/180, is this a bug, or will it increase in a faster ship?)
Accell rates in the Mid to upper 60's
Top Speed 99.8
Yep, I almost crapped when I saw that. Will track her down and get a screenshot of it.
