You will get the component and a schematic fragment after you RE it. The Fragment wil lsay 1/8 2/8.... once you have all 8 pieces you combine them into schematic
Yeah, towards the end of the RE process you get a message saying something was found inside the component.

Curious on how many RE you did to get it. I have done over 50 RE and yet to see one fragment!

were u RE'ing things of the same name together, or just same component type..
i just did around 150 on the bazaar and got nothing. any tips?

its random no one piece of loot is better than any other for REing.
i got two friends helping me gather level 1-3 loot for REing and we each going to get a firespray when we are done. if we get more than 3 the plan is to auction the extra off and split the proceeds.
seems the chance to get a disc is around 1% on each RE attempt. so keep trying.

Does it have to be a certain level? I.e. - 7 or 8. Or can it be level 1 or 2 components too?
I have a crap load of components I was gonna mass sell off on the bazaar, but if can come from any component, I'll give them to my shipwright buddies.

any level. i ask my friends to only drop off the level 1-3 stuff in our shipbuilding house since i dont have the room to stockpile 3 of everything on level 4 items waiting on someone looting item 4. they bring me their 4 and up when they have em ready but i generally only ask em to bring me the 1-3 RE level items.

My corp made the first FS on Wanderhome last night. It took about 200 peices to get all 8 disks. We are only 2 disks away from the second schem. Its running around 1/100 for a disk...so 1% like someone else said. Ive gotten ALL of my disks from lvl 1 componets and NONE have been Kuat items...kinda ironic huh?

Ive got three of the eight discs needed. Two of them came from level 1 non-Kuat components, and the third came from two level 2 Kuat components. Ive RE'd about 600 components.

as to 50mil being a lot, bah. any serious master artisan profession of value like weaponsmith or armorsmith who plies his trade ina reasonable fashion can reach such marks easily. I think Armani on corbantis supposedly has 4 billion. Yeah the richest dudes will own it.....thats why rich guys in real life drive ferraris. Firespray is the Ferrari of the sky, so at least for now, if you wanna be the first kid on your block in a firespray, you're gonna pay top dollar to be cool. I've got a couple pieces of schematic all off level 1parts and I fully plan on auctioning these off when theyre done at over 20 mil starting bid. All the cool kids will be flying firesprays, lets just pray they rock the sky as much as they rock the bank account.
