But, congrats for getting it early, i guess its the best time since the inevitable xp nerf will arrive once their metrics show how quick it can be achieved.

yeah but it costs 6mill+ resources to get there in that time. I think it evens out.

someone mentioned architech doesnt take all that much time either to master (dunno personally), and they havent nerfed that xp.

also, i believe the practise xp given in SW is less than other professions in the units taken vs xp given. (heard somewhere in beta)

So try to think of something else seriously wrong

SW will only have limited appeal to noobs buying ships. After you join a Pilot Guild and start flying missions, except for repair kits and a new higher level chasisonce you go up in skills, you don't need to buy anything else. I've looted engines, capacitors, droid contollers, etc that beat any I've seen made yet. And n anyone with MA and DE can make the memory modules and computers you need.

So where does any SW expect to recoup their losses from grinding to Master? The market won't be there. In one day I already have a really fast well equipped fighter made from 90% loot parts.

Not too mention that the MOB's are so lame that you can kill them with your free noob ship...

I agree with some of the things you've said, but for the rest, I'm assuming you were not a beta tester (at least toward the end of the beta anyways)

Yes, the low level mobs are easy, but just give yourself some time, until you hit pilot level III or IV, then let me know if you still think they are easy.

You will need to buy components, as well repair kits and chassis, because when you get killed by a Tier 5 B Wing (those that know, will know) then your stuff decays.........................yes I said DECAY (somewhere around 10% IIRC).

This is the single most important thing for Shipwrights as far as ships are concerned, because it means they will be repeat business.

It takes 1,480,000 exp to master this profession. You get 26 exp per 100 resourcesthats about 5,700,000 that adds up to 1,482,000 exp. I will master it just to not have to pay somone else outragious prices to make me ships and parts.

I spent somewhere around 13 mil on the resources to master Shipewright, and I made back 8-9 mil of that in the six hours before I went to bed last night alone. When I log on and check my vendor sales today I'm sure I'll see that many more hulls and components were sold over night. Of course that means I'll have another long afternoon of crafting, but that's the trade. I have no idea if this level of sales will hold, but anyone thinking there isn't an opportunity to make back what you paid into the profession is being too skeptical. I fuylly expect to make back what I paid in, and more, within the first 24 hours.
