Steel: Afira, 944 OQ
Iron: Quadisoseceasonate, 957 OQ
Aluminum: think I just ran out of it, its OQ was around 900-910
Radioactive: Iocys, 623 OQ 971 PE


Total 4400 points ='s 89.1 top speed on MK IV Engines


Steel - Ocek 995OQ


Iron - Carbace 1000OQ


Alu - Opimiow 996OQ


Radio - Duraheoce 815OQ/951PE (3rd best or so OQ/PE combo to ever spawn on our server for engines)


Total 4757 points ='s 90.2 top speed on MK IV Engines


+357 points ='s 1.1 speed


Now, im not a old school crafter, but I don't think thats much of a differance in resource benefit is it?

And no, quality does not make a HUGE differance in equipment. Amarginal differance yes, a huge differance, nope. Certainly not enough differance to set appart extreamly good resources from junk pulled out of the ground at any given time.






/agree I'd make a lot more money simply selling the high qual resources I have, because other shipwrights with lesser resources can pull comparable stats on equipment. So there's no point in my using these high quality resources that I've purchased. I'll get some hard numbers later on with a couple different items to see how much quality really matters.

Well unsure about you all, but I do not use ALL EXTRAORDINARILY GREAT RESOURCES in all areas of the chasis however I do use in most of it. I have made 2 master ships one the Neutral yt-1300 with mass of 5 million, and I also made the rebel one forget the name off hand, and it had the mass of 5.5 million. Then last night I made a b-wing for a customer with 280k mass, I have tried with piss porr stuff, and great stuff really not that big of difference in the chasis. Of course like everyone has said in components different story.
