Although I am a rebel pilot, I have been intermittenly pushing for a good PvP ship for privateers. The heavy skyke could be the solution. The release it a big blow to shipwrights, but we must learn to be tactful with what we are given.

The ships that we WERE given to craft = not too shabby. These could help my market with noobs looking for a better shipand privates who wish for PvP ships.

I really do like the new life that was breathed into this profession, regardless of the new ships that gift deeds. New components, new ship variants, new mining potential.
If there is a crafting profession that most benefitted from RotW, it is Shipwright, hands down. They didn't get overhauled like AS or WS, and SW got the most crafting content added. I can think of a lot of other crafting professions that got left holding their hot dogs with this expansion.

My likes boil down to Space mining, I find it really a fun mini-game and while there are improvements to be made in the Y-8, the main mining game and quest is very well done.

New ships. New parts. What's not to like? (Continued in "As shipwrights, what do you dislike about ROTW?")... *sigh*

New ships, new parts. Space mining. No harvestors for space mining, ensuring that acquiring these resources is actually mildly entertaining. New ships we *can't* craft(I'll make more money building components for these than I would for ANY ship i can craft-- people care more about stuff that you can't just go buy from a crafter. This means they will be much more picky about what they want to put on their prize possessions. They will want my BEST. And they will pay a LOT to get it, to make that special ship THAT much more special. Meanwhile, my market for other ships continues. But then, I never really liked building chassis. Components are far more interesting and lucrative-- an X might cost 100K or whatever... but the components, when all is said and done, can very easily be twice that for "the good stuff".)

- Because players have to fly to Kashyyyk, they absolutely need to experience the space aspect of the game. This has increasedthe "take rate" on players that want to continue their progression as a pilot. This has stimulated business tremendously.
- Because players want to experience asteroid mining, they absolutely need to push their piloting skills to at least tier 4. This has stimulated business tremendously. You can say what you want about asteroid mining, the bottom line is that players are going to look at it as a new source of income.
- Always love new schematics to play with.
