Speed aside for a moment, is it possible to get Y/P/Rs up into the 70's on these engines? or is the cap still around 65 or 67?
i have made a 72/71/67 with 99 spd , so it is possible to get pyr in the 70's, just not all of them

with buff and 17 pts I can hit 100.3 speed 73 PY 60 R... quite viable in PvP if your reactor can pull it at EO4
Mine certainly can, but that brings up the issue of crafted engines having rediculously high energy drains... what are your drains like on these?
drains on mkV crafted engine, with an engine overdriver sub component that is primarily experimented on speed is upwards of 2200. you will need at least an mkIV reactor to be able to run EO4 with crafted engines (16k gen+)
Aya, just curious... if you dump all experimentation on a lvl 9 engine into P and Y, then whatever is left into R and use a Speed Limiter instead of the Overdriver, what kind of stats do you end up with? Or more to the point, whats drain and speed look like after that setup?

PS, If you're willing, next time you get a buff make me a lvl 9 crafted engine just like that, all points to P and Y then R, nothing in speed and a speed limiter. I'm very interested to see how an engine like that will turn out. If you do get a chance to make it, just put it in on your asteroid vendor and I'll pick it up as soon as I can. I should have my cable line setup this week, so I'll be back on soon.
Will test as soon as I get online/get buff again... will make one with a limiter and one without a subcomponent at all
Ok... tested it out
No subcomponent = 1900 drain 85.7 speed
Limiter = 1570 drain 74.0 speed
