i seem to get a ~1:80 drop rate. once i got 2 disks in one night , about 25-30 RE's.

i made ONE schematic so far, (having had 5 number 4's and 4 number 8's). i stoped now more or less.

After making one schematic, i will no longer waste time RE'ing low lvl loot or any odd number caps, boosters , engins and reactors. So i told my guild to just sell all thatand only drop by me all even numbered loot and all weapons and interfaces.

To the guy whgo sels for 3 mil, we got some SW on ahazi too who sell for that, this is one reason i wont buy anymore or sell them. if i ever DO get another schem hehe.

I got 1 disk the very first item I REed, After that nothing. Of course I have only done around 10 items lol

I wish SWG would let us know the drop rates so we could plan for it.

The NGE brought two things to the game: empty cantinias and a flood of Jedi.

I did a stint of 4 full weeks with not a single drop - and believe me, I re a LOT of components...

Then one day I got 3 disks in 3 re's. Pow Pow Pow!

Bummer all were 5/8 lol.

Traded one off, still got a spare.

i managed 15 disks in my total career. that was out of 1000 component tools i created. made it through 2 crates of 25, and had 9 disks to show for it, but 4 were duplicates. then they made them more rare, and since then i finished off hte other 950 tools, with only 6 more disks to show for it, and about 3 million spent buying parts, plus all the hundreds of parts i looted myself, and got from the guildies.

not a single set of disks to show for the effort. the only money i made from shipwright was in selling the spare disks to finance my RE efforts. screw that. rare is one thing, but even with the fs skill Luck:4, i still got crap. (though im certain it wouldnt have helped me anyhow)

that was the final straw, so i dropped the profession i had started the game in the first place to become. millions in qualityresouces liquidated at 2cpu or less, most of the parts i had RE'd sold to the chasis vendor, and all the crafted stuff just given away to anyone who would take it. and in 3 months , i dont think i even used most of the skills i had as a shipwright for anything other than REing parts for the needy. i just hope they fix the profession in the future, so the whole of JTLS doesnt just fade away....

what a waste...

out of 30? maybe .2 average I stopped counting a long time ago I just get happy when one finally comes.

Out of 30 re attempts today on lvl one equipment, I snagged one disk....and the component it came from was a Kuat.....
