Thread: Um... I think I broke the lightspeed barrier

yeah a low mass..mark V engine on a Awing or arc-170 (which is pretty much a high mass version of the awing, with aft turrets) would be crazy, too. i got a 28k mass engine i made, mark V, on my high-mass xwing.

You don't have to. You use the speed to get behind them then you match speed and blow them away. I was blowing up tier 5 oppressors and aggressors in my heavy Z-95 with just a new 89.9 mark IV with 61 YPR. The oppressors were total cake and I'm just a 4444 pilot. Of course the supernaturally accurate turrets on the aggressors still had no problem hitting me at 1104 speed. Later I made some even nicer engines. Can't wait to try them out.

Thats an interseting question. I was having trouble against very low level ships last night because I was getting too close to them. I had to back off the throttle on my Arc170 to kill them.

Haha, I got you beat with a 118.7 speed Mark V engine on Flurry =P. The trick to getting em way up there is highest OQ on EVERY resource regardless of other stats. I did get the P,Y,R over 61 on all of em too on that same engine =)


The Mark V overcharger came out +14.97 when i made em so I made a crate of 11 of those. The thing is, what do I sell these ridiculously fast engines for now tho? Since I only have enough to make 11 of em =/


EDIT: forgot to add that the mass of these is around 34k too =)

/ethrust seems to reset any overload programsthat Ihave running. Any one else having this occur?

Perhaps take what you usually sell engines at and multiply it somewhere between 2-4 times over... that should make it a nice tidy sum

heres my view of this they should beable to go that fast. why? becuase in the movies they go that fast some dont but some do.
