All the MP ships have 5 mil mass, to make up for the fact they are flying bullseyes that cant be missed in a fight

If the vessel is properly crewed with capable gunners, one or two 'repair' technicians who can run from section to section in the ship using quality repair kits and has a decent pilot, along with a nice fighter screen, these multi-player ships can own a battle quite significantly.

As for myself, I can't wait to sign onto the crew of one and take any position, pilot, gunner or in combat repair technician. All are important to the survivablity of those vessels.

(I am only guessing about the in-flight repair capablity, I have only read about it, I haven't had the chance to confirm that as of yet.





Well I had a go in one in beta (the decimator), we got ripped to shreds by a player X-wing in about 10 seconds, the reactor was blown in less time than it takes to say repair kit

How many people did you have in the ship? How were you going into battle? Did you have any supporting fighter craft to give you some extra defense?

In combat, the MP ships should be part of a larger force that can help keep things like Player X-Wings/TIE Opressors/Aggressors off the ship.
