I got three in one sitting. that is the best i have ever had. I did do a little prayer to the dev gods for good luck, so, that might be why i got them. Now i feel evil.

I had three drop with in one hour while RE'ing a couple of days ago. But they were two 2s and a5.
I already have two 2s and a 5! Arghhh!

On FarStar our small guild (D7) is trying to make Firesprays. We have processed hundreds of parts in the last four weeks and have 13 Schematics. However we have never found part 3. Others on FarStar also cannot get part 3.
Does anyone know if there is a problem with part 3 or is it just very rare?

After getting two real quick, I just got a third a few weeks back. I'm not sure if RE'ing is even worth it any more, especially the higher rated loots, since I am guaranteed 25k for 5 Level 5 loots that I'd use to RE in the chance a disk shows up.
I've even decided to auction off my disks. I'll still RE level 1 and 2 loots, but I'm just going to sell the rest...

Yeah, anything over 5th level I simply save for REing useful stuff. Anything 3rd or lower is Kuat-bait, 4th is iffy...
The game is capable of tracking if an item has been RE'ed or not, how hard can it be to code that if its been RE'ed already, the sell back is that much higher? At least then we could compete with the vendor for loot from players, instead of going broke.

I received one about 2 hours ago, after doing about 50 or 60 REs in one sitting.
Too bad it was a duplicate.

2 more looted yesterday. However no part III.
Interestingly a CSR was on Dantoine on the FarStar server last night taking questions. We asked her if there was any known problem regarding Schematic part III. She advised not as far as she was aware and it was probebly to intentionaly rare to make the prodution of Firesrays rare as well.

my brother is sitting at 1200 RE and no discs, is there a FAQ or something? he thinks he is going crazy
must just be extremely unlucky
(yes 1200 RE, the guild keeps dropping off backs of 50 items all the time)

That definatly seems odd. We normaly drop of looted parts in similer ammounts, 50 or so a time. We usualy find a Schematic to every two or three loads. So 1/100, 1/150.
There are a few notes on Firespray Schematics in some of the sticky threads to the top, but as I am not a Shipwright myslef Ican't offer any advice.
