Pre9Jedi, 31 proffs and chef was not one of them! No silly hats for me....

Bothan here. I have RE'd probably about 300 items and have yet to see one myself.

I have a wookiee alt. out of about 400 or so RE's i have gotten 2 disks.

first disk was with i think level 2 parts 2nd was with level 4 parts.

Could be coincidence, or just anecdotal evidence, but the disk rate after patch 11.2 sure seems to be slower.

Prior to the patch I pulled 5 disks (with one duplicate) out of a few hundred RE jobs.

Since the patch, I've done twice as much RE as I had done previously and only got one disk (it was another duplicate).

Is this perhaps the same thing they did with Jedi's and "holocron professions"? Too many Firesprays showing up too fast so they lowered the drop rate?

to the question about drop rate: no, i dont think they've lowered it.

im getting a piece about every 200-300 RE's or so. in fact ive gotten more per RE than before the patch.

i think its totally *random* ..............and no i dont need a digression on computer algorithms, chance, and random number generation.
