Thread: When did you last get a Firespray disk when REing?

2 yesterday disk 2 and 7. 3 last week. had adry spell there for a few weeks in July. It all averages out in the end.

Saw my first disk right before the CU (I had only returned to the game right before the CU) and that was on attempt #30. Second disk showed up over a month later (and around 125 RE attempts later). Currently working my way towards #75 on RE attempts since the last disk and still nothing.
I'm not sure if it's borked or just become weighted towards more advanced Shipwrights or something. I figured I wouldn't consider it much of an issue until I hit Master SW and see how the trend goes then.

speaking of firespray.. if any shipwrights on scylla are looking disk #6..

Ack what am i doing wrong sheesh ive RE'd about 500-700 parts in the last couple weeks havnt seen one darn disk. When i was a SW in the beginnig of JTL i used to get them regularly but now nadda.

Same here, I have had 15 disks, but none for last few months. I REed about 800 parts this weekend and nothing. Annoyingly, I don't even have a full set.

I've gotten up to 25 disks now (after 2 more last night) without a full set. I think I have 5 or 6 #4s. If I get another #4, I am going to scream.

I've only gotten 1 so far (#4) but I haven't done all that much REing to be honest. Maybe about 100 or so give or take.

i just got two discs a couple minutes ago, #2 from a level one armour, and #3 from level 7 guns, it was also the last charge on the level 7 guns, which stops me thinking maybe i lost a few because of the last charge and tool being destroyed and such. coincidently those r two of the discs i bought yesterday to get all 8, sigh

Well i got 2 on saturday evening. Took about6 backpacks of loot to get them.
Things i have noticed ( i have got 8 schems so far and only 3 uses 5 times 
- KUAT seems to make a difference ( but doesnt alway drop from them )
- It makes a difference if you RE in a busy location. I used to take a full inventory ( level 1 stuff ) to Coronetand i usually get 1 or 2 disks. I have tried this a couple of times at Dant MO - it seemed to work both times.
- Someone has suggested RE'ing in a POB ship can also help ( but i havent tried this oneyet ).
- Only ever geta max 2 of 2 disks in a 24 period. I haveREALLY tested this. Got 2 disks within say 4 backpacks - did another 10 backpacks and got nothing.
- Get most of disks from RE 1 stuff - rare to get from Level 5+
NB this is my view and it may not work for everyone. It seems to cost 1-2m worth of RE loot per disk ( at 1.5k per RE level )
( PS i am looking for DISK 6 on chimera - have 3,4 and 5 for swop )
