I understand, but just pondering the issue myself, I'm thinking they might want to see how people figure things out for themselves before being handed all the info on a silver platter =)

It's actually good that the correspondents are sticking rigidly to the NDA. They are representives of SOE to us as well as being our reps to SOE.

But honestly, even if the NDA were still in effect, they are not going to penalize beta testers for talking about it now. This information is public knowledge, so why not help people who ask for it?

The NDA is a legal document that beta testers agree to. While the normal 'punishment' of expelling from beta is gone, the document is still in force and we are bound by our word to keep the information we gained in beta secret until they release theobligation. Releasing the game has made it effectively worthless, but there was a bug in early beta that let anyone in to Kashyyyk, those in beta still were covered despite the non-beta people running around.

I asked IIscander to ask Tiggs when the NDA was going to be lifted yesterday, and the answer received was to wait for specific permission to release. Since my guide has had dev input and my word was given I cannot release till I receive that authorisation. It is driving me mad as well, but that's the situation.

I managed to push Pex and he has raised the issue with Tiggs so hopefully things are moving.

Have you seen the expansions board, RD?

Its full of tips on how to get different things and several people have put out where to start the mining quest (Flash in the Kachiro cantina) and the game is live.

Its only hurting the community to not see what sounds like a great guide. Altho from what Ive heard, it only spawns nothing higher than t3 and t4 enemies so it shouldnt be that hard. Though I believe your guide includes info on actually mining also which would be a great asset to those of us that want to get into it.

I have and I can't comment on other peoples actions. To be honest if I hadn't asked yesterday and got the answer from IIscandar then I would have posted by now assuming once servers live I could, but in giving my word I'm not prepared to release it. I'm reallygetting annoyed that they can't take 5mins to give clearance, but I'm not going to break me word

There are other things I have secret between me and various people at SOE, and I need them to know when they let me have something that isn't for public release they can be sure I won't release it.

Well I've figured it out and I wasn't in the beta, so the NDA doesn't apply to me, so here we go........

First off, head up into spaceand hyperspace to Kashyyyk (top middle of interstellar map) and head to the first Hyperspace point, it's the closest, then land on Kashyyyk's only port.

From here, head out of the port and into the little village, you'll see a huge tree with stairs going toward it, this is your destination. Go inside and you'll see 3 doors, take the one that says "First Floor" and then /target flash

This will target Flash Harrison, go talk to him and he will send you to a contact. This will take you to Dearic, Talus.

Go inside the cantina in Dearic, from the port, you'll need to hit the second opening, he's the dude in white sitting in the corner. Talk to him and you then become one of his guys (much like pilot missions) and he'll send you on a: DUN DUN DUN *lightning and thunder* patrol mission.

You can do the patrol missions at T2 no sweat, and from here on it's fairly straight forward, just finding the guys is a pain.

Be sure you can take out T3+ guys so you won't have to worry, or if you can't, have a friend go along with you to watch your back.

Hope this helps everyone out
