Thread: Upgradeable/Hyperdrive Starter Ships and NO damage/decay from Space PvP??????

Well, I have to agree with the starter ship. However, the change regarding no decay during PvP has precedent; if you die in the ground game during PVP (and even factional PvE), you don't experience decay.

Upgradable starterships? Its not really going to hurt shipwrights that much. I've sold a vast majority more tier1 and tier2 chassis than I ever sold starter ships. The starterships don't use enough resources to justify grinding with. And most shipwrights were dumping them on the bazaar for 6k anyways. I dont see the loss of the tier0 chassis as a big deal.
And regarding no decay for death in deepspace. Its already far too easy to die in PvP. With no insurance, and 10% decay on death, you would see people needing to buy new ships every 10 PvP deaths? That is just crazy.
I see both changes being benifical to JTL as a whole. I see it as a good thing that pilots are not100% dependent in shipwrights. (Unlike the ground game where players are 100% dependent on med buffs). And I play a master shipwright.
