Thread: So whats the thing behind Droids interfaces?
Mark I Speed 12.1, Mark II 14.5; Mark III 16.7
is good an guide who says
- i can wait 1 or 5 minutes, no big problem is droid speed is slow. But what i wanna know, is the difference between MK 1 droid and mk4 droid interface except speed.
Right now im using Mark 1 droid and except speed no other problems, my reactor overload IV work with engine and weapon overload III.
10.0 Is Great.
15.0 Is bad.
It's the length of time before you can issue another command.
Speed, Weight and Power Requirements should be the only differences.

and the patch from today should correct that. From today onwards, Mark I droid interface will have high speed (bad) and higher level will have lower speed.
That mean that your lvl 1 droid interface with speed 13 & mass 500 are being nerfed, and therefore gain some value on the trade market.

We need something like this on all components. Recharge rate and other speeds are often debated by my friends and I. Is there somewhere that specifies whether higher or lower numbers are better for each attribute?

Ship Chassis:
Hit Points - High
Mass - High
In general....
Mass, Energy Maitiance - Low
Armor, Hitpoints - High
Engines:
Speed, Pitch, Yawn, Roll - High
Reactor:
Energy Generation - High
Shields:
Hitpoints (front and Rear), Recharge Rate - High
Weapons:
Armor & Shield Effectiveness, Minimum & Maximum Damage - High
Refire Rate - Low (Within reason. If it's too low, you'll drain your weapon cap too fast)
Energy Per Shot - Low
Weapons Capacitor:
Max Energy, Recharge Rate - High
Booster:
Acceleration, Booster Energy, Recharge Rate, Speed - High
Energy Consumption - Low
Droid Interface:
Droid Command Speed - Low
Droid command speed changed today with the patch. Higher is better.

It's been mentioned in various threads. but still...

know what i mean..?
its statet everywhere even the devs in the Patch notes say
---->Crafted and looted droid interface stats are now tiered appropriately---low level crafted items have higher command speeds, and high level items have lower command speed<-----
but all my ingame friends believie in that
higher = better..
so they destroyed all the 10.0 Mark 1 Droid interfaces or sale the for 500-1000 cr *sigh*
didnt remember when people was so confused on the same thing.. *g*
With the same materials, a Level 2 DI has a lower command speed than a Level 1.
Thus, lower's still better.
I think you missread the patch notes...
Why is it AFTER Patch
still not correct? i mean for Space loot
ingame Example
Lvl 2
Kuat Systems Engineering Improved Mark1 Droid Interface
Energie Drain 512.2 Speed 23.1
ingame Example 2
Lvl 4
Kuat Systems Engineering Costum Manager Class Mark 2 Droid Interface
Energie Drain 508.0
Droid Command Speed 29.1
only to name 2 examples of 10 Droid interfaces..
please Explane :/
are the devs going crazy?

That's exactly why I spent some time making a bunch of 12.1 speed 430 mass ones last night. ![]()
