OK, does steel with the following stats made a good resource for yawl?

Aovo, Hardened Arveshium SteelCR=389, CD=985, DR=498, HR=725, MA=759, OQ=750, SR=24, UT=194

Taken from SWGCraft.

I dabble in resource collecting and thought this might be decent.

We use a lot of stuff that takes high OQ/CD steel, so speaking personally, I'd kill for this stuff.

Sweet, I've got all my harv's on a 95% vein right now... only 6 but it just spawned so I should be able to get a bit before it shifts again... only down side was I met 6 kryats trying to place them...

Remember you are never going to get high prices from Shipwrights. Ship chassis sell for between 3 and 6 cpu generally so that means the buy price has to be better than 2-3cpu for resources.

The componets can command higher prices so a shipwright can splash out a bit for a really good Carbonate Ore or some of the ship specials, but don't expect the 300cpu some doctors will pay for avian meat.

This is definitely component-quality stuff, so I could see it fetching 3-6 cpu without trouble. If weaponsmiths drive up the demand, 6-10 isn't out of the question, though it is a current spawn, which will drop prices.

Still, even the best shipwrights don't tend to charge more than 15-20 cpu for their components, so you're right about there being a pretty firm upper limit on what they'd be able to afford.

Different servers have different spawns. Ideally I would like to see higher UT to make it component quality for anything except weapons. On the other hand with the poor quality and quantity of spawns on Chimaera over the past month or two I am getting to the stage where I would welcome this material. You couldn't tunnel some between the servers could you ?

If ShipWrighting was not gimped I would be worried about how much Wrights will kill the price of this on my server...

I guess it could be usefull in making Missile launcers and Missiles themselves as the cant be looted.....

arveshium is a SW spawn, so its stays for a good 14-16 days. with 5 harvesters on 90+% spot i got about 1.1 mil units.

the stuff i got was very average quality, nothign i use to craft any components, but in chassis , where u use the largest amount of steel, its fine.

So get all you can, you wont be sry

Thanks for the feed back.

My intent was to make sure this is stuff that would be used. My plans is to hang onto some of it for a while, then sell.

This would be really good for reactors, since IIRC Power Gen is 66% CD, 33% OQ. Or maybe 75/25.

Hopefully it will give you some nice profit. Keep in mind, however, that shipwrights aren't exactly dripping in dough

I wasn't planning on trying to sell it for outrageous profits, but if I wait, i might get an extra 2 or 3 cpu for it.

I'm not looking for prices the doc's are willing to pay.
