Thread: Kuat Disk frequency?

First of all, spare me the (The KSE sucks d00d). It don't care if it flies like a freight liner, it's still sexy.
My question is about the actual odds of recieving a Kuat Disk in any given RE.
I heard one person mention about 1 in 1000, but that seems a but steep.
Is there any official word, and also, do the disks drop more frequently from higher level RE's? or does anything have a shot.
It could be garbage for all I care, it will still rake in millions $$$

The official word is it's random. (or as close to official as you can get)
I've had discs pop 2 in one night, different discs no less.
Then I've gone for weeks with nothing. Mind you, all I RE are 1-3 stuff, with the occasional RE for nice gear. I'd venture to say 90% of my discs have been off the 1-3 stuff. And I RE every night, at least 50-100 items.
I'd say the total average is probably somewhere in the 1 in 500 region, roughly. Wouldn't go as high as 1 in 1000, but if you get in a really bad streak, it can easily go beyond that.

My chances are zero in whatever amount. I still haven't seen one of those buggers, but I'm not a RE *hoar*

Mostly 1s, 2s, 3s. I tend to go down to Mos Eisley once a day and buy up all the loot there.

I'm currently collecting just the resources I'll need to make 4xxx Shipwright (the rest I intend on contracting out or buying), but I've probably REed about 200 L1/RE1 pieces and already have discs 5&6.
I intend on getting a KSE for myself (and please, I HAVE flown one before, before you get the urge to post something to the effect of 'OMG HE'S NEVER EVEN FLOWN ONE BEFORE' in my other thread on here), but I intend on waiting the resource cycle out and building my own in due time.

Make that disc 4 just tonight, too - three discs in roughly two weeks' time.

After a long dry spell i finally got another one tonight. However it was a repeat of one i already had, got all excited about nothing lol. If anyone on shadowfire needs disk 2, hit me up. Take the numbers off my name and that's me in game.

i'd say i get a 1 disk per 100 RE's i re all levels but mostly the low level simply because i have more of them and takes less parts to RE them
althougth yesterday i pop 2 disks out in a row from the level 10droid interface with level 3 RE

I finally got my first one last night!!! Woohoo! Curious thing was it was off a pre-nerf Level 1, 14.9 speed, <500 mass DI. I certainly hope pre-nerf parts have nothing to do with the frequency, because that's my only one.
