Could be server specific, but as I said, I "talked" with at least six dancers last night, but could not find a single Musician ATK. I appreciate the dependency upon professions, but people don't need me on line to get a ship component from my vendor. Since we must have aplayer ATKto receive a buff,it makes no senseat all that it's only one profession that we must seek. Otherwise, they need to allowthe craftersto request the buff from the entertainer (HINT, HINT, Tiggs. ).

Blame the lack of entertainers on letting afking the profession run rampant as well as the skills such as buffing be handled the same way. The attitudes of the combat players toward entertainers did not help as well.

People are now feeling the effect of all of the above had and it stinks that those feeling it are most likely not the ones who contributed to the above.

Come to think of it, I didn't see any musicians today.

That's the Eclipse server for ya. Nearly all entertainers are Dancers.

Love your choice of professions. I to am on Eclipse and there are a few ATK Musicians out there. You just need to know where to look my friend.

I'm a musician and have probably spent 2 hours a day over the last two weeks at the theed cantina buffing crafters. I know that doesn't help anyone not on Corbantis, but quite often when I'm not making shipwright stuff, I'm playing music or dancing. They are out there, in fact I watched 3 people move quite high in the musician tree over the last week. They are returning!

Be sure when you do find one, you tip them big to encourage them to continue.

Be sure to add master entertainer to your searching, because sometimes people are both and have the master ent title up instead of musician.

Also be sure to check out this thread which is full of hints on how to find us musicians.

In this thread is a list of musicians by server so make sure you add your server listing to friends, and if you come across other musicians not listed feel free to ask them to post in that thread.

Last night consisted of going to Theed, Mos Eisley, and MOP in that order. Open to any suggestions you have. I normally don't have a problem finding them, but when I do (especially now), it's quite frustrating.

Things are fine the way they are, the question the OP should be asking is why everyone is a dancer on his server !

How many times have people told a musician, wow, you are really playing that song well? How many people who are not musicians, know that it is possible for a musician to be really creative with the 9 tracks each song has, sort of like a DJ. Some people really put a lot into their music. They have to wonder though, if anyone is actually listening and knows that each song is not just a one button start/stop? I know I do.

Dancing is a lot easier to get a response from the crowd with.

Just some thoughts on the matter.
