I had to share this. It cracked me up!
Guy walks into my vendor whilst I'm there and buys up an X-Wing. He then comes up to me and asks me how to fly it so I explain that he needs to load it up with components and register at a broker and such. Anyway, it turns out he's not trained as a pilot so I offer to buy the x-wing back off him and tell him to come back once he's levelled up for an x-wing.
20 minutes later he /tells me, saying he cannot get trained. This time it turns out he doesn't even have Jump To Lightspeed. So I tell him to go to the shops and buy Jump to Lightspeed if he wants to fly in space.
20 minutes later he /tells me again saying that he cannot find JTL on any of my vendors and can I point him to the nearest vendor that is stocking it
After much chuckling I did the honest thing and told him to look for a vendor in real life. Although I did consider sending him to my SW competitors.

Funny stuff. Don't mean to hijack or troll (since i'm at work/lunchtime) but:
Last night I was out doing my 3rd mission ever ( to get the Imp flight suit )
1st bit of strangeness: I try to fire a missle at an enemy and I get " You cannot launch a missle at yourself " ... 
2nd one, but better: After killing a few more tier 2 ships I get ( and I'm not kidding here ) " You now qualify for Novice Weaponsmith "
I almost spit soda out my nose last night at this point.

When I was making a mark 3 shield gen I got a crit failer on the front and back shield. I decided to name it Junk do not buy me. I put it up on the bazzar for 1000 and let it go. THe next day someone broght it and sent a mail asking why I make such lossy thing.

My favorite so far: customer in my shop, standing in front of my "Armaments" vendor...
Customer #1: Dang, you don't have a weapons vendor?
Me: Nope, just armaments. Sorry.
Other customers: lol
Customer #1: can you make me some weapons then?
Me: Sure, but first check the armaments vendor, please. There might be some weapons there.

Its been my experince as a crafter for over a year in this game that the brain is logged off when the game is logged on.

I'm a master shipwright. Last night while making some ship stuff I got 4 messages saying I qualified for the tier 3 shipwright skill boxes. I suppose I am qualifed for them.....

I would've been tempted to make an item and name it "Jump to Lightspeed Bootleg" in an attempt to keep the joke going!
