Looks like we'll have some new products, and a lot more than we originally thought.

I've got to say that Red Interceptor is pretty cool. All of these ships are good for shipwrights. I'm sure we will get a surge of new business when this expansion comes out.
I will say, I'm not too keen on the higher mass versions of the current ships. I like the challenge of squeezing every last component in with crafted, looted, and RE'd parts.

Yeah, but will they be part of the SW's normal schematics? Will they be loot schematics? Quested schematics? I'm thinking the Royal Guard is going to be something hard to get similar to the firespray.

I hope so, because everybody i know is drooling over it... I like having ships I can charge in the millions for.

In general I think it is great we are getting new schematics. As a fan of the Z-95 that is often frustrated by the lack of mass, I'm looking forward to loading one of these down and giving it a try.
As a Star Wars fan I'm a bit dismayed by the potential to see players flying almost nothing but these new ships. I would think any of themwould be beyond rare. In the case of the Royal Guard Interceptor I hope that they do this as a one use only limited schematic quest reward tagged onto the end of the Emperor's Retreat theme park quests. And I hope that quest is of substance. Otherwise I'd think Darth Sideous would take grave exception to those foolish enough to think they can fly about pretending that they are his loyal, personal guard without his having granted that authority to them personally. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to sell them, they're going to be a hot item, and they look really, really great. I just hope it ties into content and gives a respectful nod to established continuity.
And as a pilot my fingers started involuntarily twitching towards my joystick when I saw the in-game shots of the ARC-170. Love the look, love the description, and I can't wait to get my hands on that thing.

Anyone else notice how prominent the shields are in these screen shots? The ships look trapped in bubbles...

"The ship features ride-firing triple-laser cannons that put it on par with V-Wing fighters."
...what's a "V-Wing" fighter?

They are very briefly glimpsed in the beginning of the new Episode III trailer, in the very first shot after the Lucasfilm logo. There are three of them shown escorting a larger shuttle similar to the one that appears in Return of the Jedi.
I would have thought H-Wing craft would have been more appropriate, the s-foils seem pretty much upright to me, but I suppose there is a slight bend to them.

Those things? They reminded me of TIE's.

Well, remember there wasn't really any such association to the shape of the ship with the earlier fighters when they were named(X-Y, A-B), they were just the production names. The appearance of the "Letter" compared to the fighters was a coincidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if a "Modified" Scyk with higher mass isn't added to the list to go along with the new Z-95 and regular TIE.

Well, those are pretty cool ships... but i have a quick question about them (dunno if was allready posted, if so, sorry )
Will my crafter need to buy ROTW to be able to craft this new ships??
I allready bough JTL in order to be a Shipwright, that was a hard move cause that account just craft, and paying 30$ for crafting is not really cool. But now, this could be worse.
So, please, somebody tell me that every shipwright will have those ships in there datapad without having to buy ROTW...
Thanks
