Heya.
Can anyone give me an idea of what type of stats you're getting when building POB only shields? Trying to figure out a strategy for building a few. Not sure if we should use a recharge upgrade and experiment on damage or vice versa.
Kinda curious what sort of numbers you've gotten.
Looked around in the FAQ and didn't see this. If I missed it, I apologize.

Using Intensifiers, I get similar results. 3.4K-3.5K and 15+ recharge.

Thanks much. That gives me a good ballpark.
Sorta wish the recharge could be upped a little. (19+) or so. Looted lvl10 shields can have 16 or so recharge anyway.

Mine was similar to your 2nd one.

Mine was in the middle of that....3300ish F/B and 18 recharge. A nice balance I think, but not high enough for the job of getting space resources and having it on a ship that is not very maneuverable and depends on its shields 100% for defense.

Seems like recharge is key imo. A lot of the times you're flying a POB solo, the the higher the recharge, the less you have to hop over to the co-pilot chair and run a shield shunt.
I'm shooting for 19+ on recharge and whatever is left on protection. I don't see the difference between 3200 and 3500 being that big of a deal. (again, imo)

Heh, if you fly a POB solo, you don't hang around long enough to worry about it, because once you expend your missiles, you're nothing more than a flying target. If you get jumped in a POB alone, you forget the stand and fight routine, kick in the booster and call it a day. Unless you've got WAY more ego than intelligence, you fire maybe one or two missiles (if you're not packing Spacebomb IIs with at least 25k max damage, GET SOME) at your primary threat, then you get your ass out of there.
