Thread: Question about start the Mining ...

1. We need a Mining-Laser and a CargoHold to start the space-mining-action ... correct?

2. To craft aMining-Laser and/or CargoHold we need space-resources ... correct?


Without Space-Resources we cant craft a Mining-Laser/CargoHold and without Mining-Laser/CargoHold we cant mine Space-Resources ...


Have i forgot anything or i am not alone with a little ...


Anyone a idea or can tell me, where my fail is?

You get a "starter" mining laser and cargo hold when you begin the series of quests in the new Kassyshk (dont know how to spell this still) system. I suppose it's sort of like getting a "starter" ship when you start JtL, and you can eventually get bigger n' better lasers and such.


When the servers come back up, we'll all see for ourselves!

As soon as the NDA is lifted I'll be publishing a basic guide on mining. It includes details on where to get the first kit to start mining.

Yeah Ref-Drawf rocks! Was an excellent source of info in beta. I look forward to many good stickies from old red =)

The guy says to go to talus, but doesn't say who or where on talus. This is a crock.

Check your quest journal and roll back up your chat window - there should be a name. Type /target name and it helps find the chap you need.


(That isn't NDA info, just general advice so I can post that )

If you are in a yacht then no space mission can trigger. If not then check your quest journal - you may need to talk to him a bit more.
