Helly Everyone,
I've recently added artisan to my scout in hopes of making more effective traps. However, so far I only get 1 experimentation point to use and even that has a 60 percent failure rate. I also had a friend of mine who is a master artisan with a touch of scout try this and he had the same result.
Am I wasting my time with artisan or will I eventually be able to make much better traps?
Thanks.

Actually the better you get at making items the better you are at experimenting on them.... so a master artisan can make something low level and have it come out better than a novice artisan.... as it should be. I'm only At engineering II but sometimes have 6 experiment points and when i do them 1 at a time a 0% failure rate.... this is on things i learned in novice artisan... new things ive learned to make have only 1 exp. point and much higher failure rates.

could someone explain where i see the experiment points? is there a way to experiment on something? i have never see thing. i see the bar after i craft that says experimentation and stuff, but where is the option before hand to actually experiment on stuff? or does it just do it on its own? how do you know how many points you have?

Dimitrus: Are you talking about crafting in general or on the scout specific items such as traps and camps? I too have EGR-II (and Domestic-I for additional +experimentation) and I still only have 1 experimentation point for all my traps and camps. I haven't tried anything else but I'm sure they are higher. SO when you say you have 6 points was that on the general stuff you make or was it actually on the traps? And like I mentioned, I had a Master Artisan try experimenting on the traps as well and he had the same exact situation as myself.
RhyNow: In order to experiment you have to replace the General Crafting tool you have bene using with a better one. It lists three types of crafting (the last is also General Crafting) I think it is Weapon, Droid, and general Crafting Tool but I am probably wrong. You then have to craft the item next to a crafting station with the same name as that tool in a city. When you meet both of these steps you will get a few additional screens when craftign items (ever notice how it lists 6 steps normally but jumps from 3 to 6?). I recommend www.swgcenter.com for some greta guides on crafting and experimentation.
